Meeting called to order on December 3, 2020 at 6:33pm by King.
Members Present: King, Kelley, Donaldson, Grimes, McKillip, Wallace, Thierry
Ex-Officio Members: Pease and Schwartzman
New Business:
● King will email commission members that have not been present at the most recent
meetings. King reminded the commission that attendance at meetings is important and
requested attendance especially when special meetings are being called.
● Final edits made to a document in support of the NAACP’s resolution sent to the mayor.
Donaldson moved to accept the document and Kyle seconded. Grimes abstained and
the vote passed.
● The document will be sent to the mayor and city council and if no action is taken by the
December 21, 2020 city council meeting then the letter can be sent to the public.
● Discussion of moving the commission meetings to the first Thursdays at 6:00pm. The
Commission agreed.
Commission member remarks and upcoming events
● Coats for the Community is December 4th & 5th
● KPCK dinner is December 10th from 5-6:30pm
● Grimes hopes everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and wishes them a wonderful
holiday season. She also appreciates the Commission taking on the conversation
although she had to abstain from the conversation and voting.
● Schwartzman and Wallace also wished everyone happy holidays.

Grimes made a motion to adjourn at 7:19pm, Wallace seconded.
