Kellogg St. The building is currently vacant and the proposed work on the façade will include the restoration and repair of the brick exterior, installation of new overhead doors, construction of a ramp for accessibility and the installation of new signage. Separate from the façade work, this project will also include the complete renovation of the interior of the building. Once complete, the project will offer a new taproom with approximately 30 taps, a brew house area and a venue space that would be for events such as weddings, concerts, game tournaments or other community events. The owner will also be constructing a canopy roof structure on the north side of the existing building that would serve as a patio for customers during normal business hours and an area available for special events. The owner anticipates beginning work as soon as possible and anticipates completion in the Fall of 2021. The estimated total façade project cost is $186,753.48 and they are eligible to request up to 50% or a maximum of $80,000 of the project costs through the façade grant program. This project is NOT located in the Special Service Area, so any incentive provided will be 100% from the City (through the Tax Increment Financing District IV fund) We have received the following information: • Proof of building ownership • Proof the taxes are current • Proof of insurance from the building owner • Proof of available owner’s equity SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: 1.
