FACADE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
ADMINISTRATION CONFERENCE ROOM OF GALESBURG CITY HALL
July 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Jay Bullis, Steve Gerstenberger, Mike Holloway, Carla Markwart
(entered 9:39 am), Mark Martin, Ralph Scott, 6.
MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
OTHERS PRESENT: Steve Gugliotta, AICP.
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 am.
Approve Minutes of the June 7, 2022 meeting
Member Scott moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Member Martin.
Minutes were approved by voice vote.
Consider Citizen Comment
No citizen comment.
FAC-22-0701 Consider Downtown Façade Redevelopment Grant Program review
The Committee discussed adding general language in the Purpose statement about period
appropriate style. Aligning program provisions with the Downtown Council façade program,
which may include stating each property is eligible for 1 grant reimbursement every 3 years.
Including the Special Service Area boundary on the map included in the application. Modifying
the committee size to include one additional at -large member.

Ayes: Bullis, Gerstenberger, Holloway, Markwart, Martin, Scott, 6.
Nays: None.
Abstentions: None.
Chairperson declared the motion approved.
There being no further business, Member Martin made a motion to adjourn, seconded by
Member Holloway, the meeting adjourned at 10:18 a.m.
