City Hall, Galesburg, Illinois
Meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M.
Roll Call:
Present: Members: Dave Selkirk, Steve Cheesman, Paul Sandborg, Rodney Bunch, Jerry
Reynolds, Greenskeeper Matt Miles, Head Golf Professional Bryan Luedtke, Park
Superintendent Don Miles, City Attorney/Administrative Services Director Bradley Nolden.
Absent:
Minutes of April 26, 2022 were approved.
Greenkeeper Report:
Greenskeeper Matt Miles provided his report including info about landscaping improvements
and irrigation leaks.
Golf Professional Report:
Head Golf Professional Bryan Luedtke provided his May report. A copy is attached. The
Members briefly discussed the scholarship program.
Old Business:
• Bradley Nolden led a discussion of the proposed Rules and Regulations for Bunker Links. He
will bring back a final version for the Commission to approve at the next meeting.
• Steve Cheeseman presented concepts for the signage about notable Galesburg golfers. The
Commission discussed the location of the signage.
New Business:
• Bradley Nolden presented a letter of appreciation to be used for groups who book
outings.
• Bradley Nolden indicated that the next meeting of the group would be focused on the
budget so that suggestions could be incorporated into the preliminary submittal to the
Finance Department.

Next Golf Commission Meeting will be on June, 28, 2022 at 4:00 P.M.
