Meeting was called to order at 4:03 P.M.
Roll Call:
Present: Members: Dave Selkirk, Steve Cheesman, Paul Sandborg, Jerry Reynolds, ,
Greenskeeper Matt Miles, Head Golf Professional Bryan Luedtke, Park Superintendent
Don Miles, City Attorney/Administrative Services Director Bradley Nolden, Alderman
Bradley Hix
Absent:
Minutes of March 22, 2022 were approved.
Greenkeeper Report:
Don Miles provided the report for Matt Miles. The Commission inquired about current
drainage issues and potential fixes.
Report was reviewed and accepted. A copy is attached.
Golf Professional Report:
Head Golf Professional Bryan Luedtke provided his April report. A copy is attached. The
Commissioners discussed the memorial brick program and golf pricing.
Old Business:
• Commissioner Bunch disused a desire to see the course lengthened. Don Miles
provided an explanation of some of the financial/labor issues presented by this
project.
New Business:
• Alderman Hix commented about the opportunity cost of pursuing projects such
as the Churchill community Center and how it could negatively impact the ability
to undertake golf capital projects.
• Commissioner Reynolds asked about the rules/regulations discussed in the
previous year. Mr. Nolden will place on the agenda for the next meeting and
send out a draft.
• Commissioner Cheeseman discussed the signage project for notable golfers and
recognizing Bunker as the home course of the Silver Streaks.
• Don Miles reported on the usage of golf scooters. The Commission briefly
discussed the issue.

Next Golf Commission Meeting will be on May 24, 2022 at 4:00 P.M.
