Meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M.
Roll Call:
Present: Members: Steve Cheesman, Paul Sandborg, Rodney Bunch Jerry Reynolds,
Greenskeeper Matt Miles, Superintendent Don Miles, City Attorney/Administrative
Services Director Bradley Nolden,
Absent: Head Golf Professional Bryan Luedtke, Dave Selkirk
Minutes of June 28, 2022 were approved with one correction.
Greenkeeper Report:
Greenskeeper Matt Miles provided his report. A brief discussion occurred about the
length of the rough.
Golf Professional Report:
Don Miles presented a report from Head Golf Professional Bryan Luedtke who was
absent. The Commission discussed the wear and tear and damage that was occurring
due to additional play.
Old Business:
None.
New Business:
• Mr. Bunch inquired about what time carts must return to the clubhouse. Members
and staff had a lengthy discussion about the appropriate time to require carts to
return. The Commissioners voted to recommend that the Head Golf Professional
develop a policy.
• A brief discussion was held about the necessity of thinning out the shrubbery
near the clubhouse and the weeping willow trees on #5.
• Don Miles presented some statistics regarding usage of the golf scooters.

Next Golf Commission Meeting will be on August 23, 2022 at 4:00 P.M.
