Golf Professional: Golf Professional Luedtke provided a review of the numbers for the month of April. There were 2,840 rounds played which up 87 from 2024. Revenue is up, especially the driving range. The weather was not spectacular, but numbers were still up. The Spring Shamble had 26 foursomes compete with $1,560 in merchandise credit paid out the winners. The course hosted two outings with 14 and 17 foursomes, both with dinner afterwards. One outing was cancelled but are looking to find a new date to host later in the year. June is going to be busy with six outings on the calendar. A question was asked about season pass numbers being down. Bryan explained that both country clubs ran membership specials this spring to attract golfers to their courses. We have lost some players to that, and our players are getting older and are deciding not to play as much or not at all. Old Business: None. New Business: Bob Reedy mentioned that he would like to see an Assistant Golf Professional position hired for next season to assist Bryan with all the extra work that goes into operating the Golf Shop and running the outings. Before the conversation was over the commission felt that Matt should have an assistant as well. If either one of them happens to get ill and would happen to miss substantial time away from work it could be detrimental to the operation. Meeting adjourned at 4:55 P.M.
