GALESBURG LANDMARK COMMISSION
ERICKSON CONFERENCE ROOM OF GALESBURG CITY HALL
REGULAR MEETING
TUESDAY MARCH 5, 2024 AT 5:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Suzanne Klohn, Mark Martin, Bob Miener, Deb Sugai, Greta Woolsey,

OTHERS PRESENT: None.
Staff declared a quorum was present.
Approve Minutes of February 6, 2024.
Member Klohn made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Member
Woolsey.
Minutes were approved by voice vote.
Discuss Citizen Comment
None.
LC-24-0301 Consider Annual Historic Preservation Awards
Members discussed the venue in which to present the award and doing it during
the May Landmark Commission meeting would allow the opportunity for more
discussion with the property owner and others involved in projects. Members also
discussed potential candidates to receive a historic preservation award. A press
release about the award recipient and project would also be beneficial.
There was also discussion on potentially having experts in various fields of historic
preservation come and speak to the Commission as an educational component.
There being no further business, Member Klohn made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Member
Martin, approved by voice vote the meeting adjourned at 6:26 P.M.
