Landmark Commission Letter
Updates and items of General discussion
March 5, 2024
May 2024 Award Ceremony.
Annual historic preservation awards are typically held in May, as recognized by the
National Trust for Historic Preservation. Last year we presented the award to the recipient
during a Landmark Commission meeting. In previous years we had presented the award
during a Council meeting. If we were to do it during a Council meeting, the two Council
meeting dates in May are the 6th and 20th.
The Commission needs to begin discussing potential recipients. In order to assist, I am
enclosing the following documents:
• A list of past award recipients from 1979 – 2023, and
• A list of Certificate of Appropriateness requests from 2013 – 2023.
Upcoming regular meeting schedule for 2024.
April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, Aug 7 (Wednesday), Sept 4 (Wednesday), Oct 1, Nov 5, Dec 3
