SUBJECT: Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting
A meeting of the Galesburg Planning and Zoning Commission has been scheduled for Tuesday, July
21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Galesburg City Hall.
Due to social distancing necessitated by COVID-19, Citizens can submit public comments in advance
of the meetings by emailing public@ci.galesburg.il.us. Comments must be received one hour prior to
the posted start time of the meeting to be addressed at the meeting and all comments will be subject
to the time requirements and standards established for public comment.

Approve Minutes of the June 9, 2020 meeting
Update Past Planning and Zoning Commission items.
Receive General citizen comments.
PZ-20-0701 Public Hearing Variance request of Section 152.232 (A) of the Development
Ordinance to allow more than one on-premise free-standing
sign. PIN 99-03-153-003, located at 1980 National Blvd.
PZ-20-0702 Public Hearing Minor Plat of the Kenco First Addition Subdivision PINs 99-
16-426-007, 99-16-426-006 and 99-16-426-008, located at
932 and 1000 Monmouth Blvd.
PZ-20-0703 Public Hearing Zoning map amendment to go from B1, Neighborhood
Business to B2, General Business, located at 262 North
Prairie St. PINs 99-10-476-008 and 99-10-476-004.
PZ-20-0704 Public Hearing Off-Street parking variance of Table 152.155 (B) (2) to
allow 16 parking spaces instead of the required 29, located at
2100 Grand Ave. PIN 99-13-329-029.
PZ-20-0705 Public Hearing Request for Variance of Section 152.231 (B) (1) to allow
more than one on-premise wall sign. PIN 95-35-100-010.
PZ-20-0706 Consider Planning & Zoning Commission meeting time change from
7:00 pm to 5:30 pm
