Minutes of January 11, 2021 where approved.
Arborist Report:
• There was no Arborist Report.
Old Business:
• Roy and Tony have not had a chance to drive around the northeast part of town to see
where new terrace trees could be planted this spring. Roy and Tony hope to visit that area
before the next Tree Commission meeting.
• Roy will most likely purchase new trees for the Tree Nursery sometime in April.
New Business:
• The committee will need to decide on Arbor Day festivities at the March meeting. The
Committee will also need to discuss spring tree planting at the March meeting.
Citizen Comments:
• A citizen, Deborah Ferren, stopped by after the meeting while Tony and Ann were still in
the Erickson Conference Room. Ms. Ferren lives at 59 Imperial Drive. She has spoken to
the City several years ago to have a ash tree on the City terrace at her home removed. A
pine tree was just removed from her home a couple weeks ago and a stump was left. Ms.
Ferren also inquired about whether or not the City would remove the stump. Tony said
Roy would get back to her most likely on Friday, February 12th.
Meeting adjourned at 4:09 P.M.
