Forestry Report: The Forestry Report was presented by Arborist Brandon Phillips. Members noticed that trims, removals, and stump removals were all up compared to last month's report. The plan for Forestry going forward is to grind all the stumps on the list, then go back to tree removals. Once a tree has been removed the stump will then be ground within the next week. This plan should eliminate the number of calls about stump removals going forward and increase the efficiency of the Forestry Division. Old Business: Ann read a thank you text from the fourth-grade teacher at King School that helped orchestrate the Arbor Day tree planting. Bill and Ann are willing to volunteer to check the tree tags and update the tree inventory at Standish to find out which tags are missing, and which additional ones are needed for new plantings, so that more tags can be ordered. New Business: A discussion was held about possible future events that the commission could set an informational table up to raise the awareness about the importance of trees. Citizen Comments: None. Meeting adjourned at 4:24 P.M.
